Business purpose is enriching and positive. Employee welfare is strong. Pay & bonus scheme are attractive. Pension contribution is generous for a private company. Corporate communication is effective. Flexible working conditions are decent.
Cons
Pace of change is challenging. Recent restructuring decisions have been questionable. Former family feel is disappearing. Female representation in senior and executive leadership is lacking.

Pros
I spent my Year in Industry at Eakin Healthcare and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. I had numerous opportunities to explore and develop new skills including; product development, prototyping and lab skills. The R&D team were a pleasure to work with, everyone was extremely welcoming and easy to talk to. It was great to experience celebratory events within the company as well as partake in fundraising activities. Overall, I had a great experience as a placement student, and would recommend it to others looking to gain a wide range of experience.
Cons
The company underwent a restructure so I am unsure how the company is currently operating.
