Pros
Some great smart people, great place to learn for a couple of years and then leave. Good pay, but not the best
Cons
The current approach of senior management appears disconnected from the scale of Efficio, which now exceeds 1,000 employees. Despite this, management practices more fitting for a small enterprise of 50 continue to prevail. There is a recurring pattern of launching grandiose projects that ultimately fail to deliver tangible results, often due to a lack of inclusive decision-making and openness to diverse opinions. Additionally, there is a significant disparity in the treatment and compensation of business services staff compared to consulting staff, yet the former are often expected to meet the same demands and workloads as the latter. Consultants frequently exert undue influence, often disregarding the expertise and opinions of their colleagues. This has fostered a competitive rather than collaborative environment, which is detrimental to team cohesion and overall morale. Moreover, certain members of management exhibit behaviours that can only be described as rude and pushy, contributing to a workplace atmosphere that has precipitated mental health issues among the staff. This is exacerbated by the presence of senior management figures who are noticeably underutilized, contributing minimally while occupying critical positions. This occurs concurrently with the troubling trend of dismissing highly capable and intelligent staff.
