Pros

- In general the workforce is excellent good work colleagues and people wise a good company.

Cons

- The management strategy and vision of future is terrible. In essence they are just securing themselves positions in the top sphere of the company and forgetting about this ABB location at all. - If you want to do Engineering and something technical this is not the place most of the work is outsource to ABB India so hardly no chance to learn anything. The company interest on you is to manage Indian Engineers from the UK. - Executing projects in general is really bad no order or consistency followed, the internal procedures are also ignored. Quality is a total missed here. - The company has been too many years working for the Oil and Gas where quality is really bad compared to any other controls systems and automation sector. The management does not want to hear about doing anything else. -Currently the company is making Engineers just them redundant managers are untouchable no matter their performance.

Pros

- Exposure to large-scale manufacturing systems and cross-functional projects - Can build strong manufacturing and quality engineering experience quickly - Competitive pay and solid benefits for the area

Cons

Work-life balance can be inconsistent depending on department and production demands * Advancement opportunities may feel limited without moving into management or relocating * Communication and management consistency can vary between shifts/departments * Production pressure and changing priorities can create stress in quality-related roles * Some roles may require overtime or schedule flexibility that can be difficult for employees with family responsibilities * Recognition for process improvements and extra responsibilities may not always match workload expectations * Culture can feel more production-focused than employee-focused at times
