Pros

Culture. The people and the feel of the company are just right. We're all totally in it together. Worst thing is that I'm rubbish at pool, and some people are scarily good. It's nice that it's *okay* to be rubbish though! Lots of social opportunities, but there's no requirement to be a party animal - people take you as you are. Office location (Farringdon/Barbican) - also that I don't have to be in the office all the time. I aim for once a week, sometimes twice. often to co-incide with an evening out. The work is good, but in the consultancy/services side I'm sure this will depend on the customer. So far though - awesome team and meaningful work! Food and tea, coffee, soft drinks available. Beer in the fridge for after work - but no pressure to drink (important for me). Lots of other things - decent training budget, Headspace subscription. Things that aren't *necessary* but which all help.

Cons

One of the meeting rooms is a little chilly at times. Umm... that's it so far! I guess the pension contribution's not that high, so worth ploughing more in - including our bonuses to take advantage of the tax/NI benefit.

Pros

Remote friendly Flexible working hours Capable people who care about their staff Super friendly and welcoming and great atmosphere to work in

Cons

Office space can get crowded on office days New joiners onboarding needs to be improved Needs more internal work available for when you are on the bench Needs more variety of projects Career progression needs to be better defined These are things that they are actively improving on as this is still a new company and they are always open to feedback

Pros

A great company which really does seem like they care about their staff. Very friendly, all the way from the recruitment team to the office management to the engineers on the front line. Very transparent. You get to hear about all the internal workings and decisions, and not much is hidden away from you. Excellent comms, and great internal tools that are easy to use and not annoying like you get in some large corporations. Brilliant social side to the company which may not be everyone's cup'o chai but no one would ever be pressured into anything. Each to their own, and it's a lovely environment. Great treats in the office kitchenette are a nice sweetner and I also wish I had a dog now, just so I could take it into the office (which is allowed).

Cons

The work is mostly based around security, so the clients can be a bit difficult to work with/on. The office is way to small to often make it worthwhile travelling to due to lack of space, and meeting rooms, so I end up staying home mainly due to that reason. In the past also my private healthcare was covered for my entire family, where here I have to pay extra for them.
