Pros
+ Pay is pretty good
+ People are nice
Cons
+ This was literally the most toxic work experience I have ever had in my life. They seem to hire and promote people purely on personal connection and don't actually check to make sure said people know how to do what they are being paid for. What this means is that if someone knows how to BS their way through life or how to steal work from others to make themselves look good, Then those toxic people are set for life at Archetype.
+ Lack of expertise & professionalism
Didn't want to provide a secure laptop for working with a banking client. Consistently exposed internal processes and conflicts to the client.
+ Middle management is exceedingly inept
Had a situation where a middle manager tried to fire me from a client and steal my work. He made up some easily disproven stories and pressured multiple other employees to go along with it. Management called him out on the stories and doing all of this without approval from management, Then they told me that they were going to side with him anyway since he had been there longer and promoted him shortly afterward.
Shoutout to the guy who did all of this. He knows who he is. Pretty sure the guy has a personality disorder the way his mood flips from "love you to death" to "I can't work with you anymore" in 12-hour time spans. Hope he learns how to be a better person and doesn't tank any companies on his path to personal discovery
