      - supportive team - interesting, varied work - treated like an adult - reasonable salary - decent work-life balance, especially for an agency environment

      Cons

      - lack of definition between levels of roles, but that can be a pro or a con depending on how you feel (i.e., more senior people still get stuck into the lower level work) - limited transparency about how progression works

      I was so excited to take this job because I had heard BOLD was different from other agencies. Unfortunately, I was wrong. Leadership on my team was sorely lacking, and everyone was too busy being overloaded to pitch in to help a new employee learn the ropes. I got consistently positive feedback on my work but was still made to feel like a cog in a machine with no real chance for growth. Pay was poor and I was frequently expected to work overtime with no compensation-- even though BOLD has a policy to pay back overtime work, I was directly told by my manager that I should not use it. When I tried anyway, the request was ignored.
