Pros
Depending on your team and manager, you may experience periods of time where you get decent experience and exposure, especially when you are more junior in your career journey. As you get more senior, this all changes. There are a handful of wonderful people in the organisation but eventually all the good ones leave as the Charlotte first mentality grinds you down. Work life balance is decent because they don't pay anyone outside of the deal teams properly so there is no point working beyond 5 ish.
Cons
On the whole, the organisation favours mediocre teammates and has a lot of middle management who are woefully undertrained (not their fault, HR is hopeless). They're rolled back on all DEI initiatives so that's disappeared. Each year there are a number of in secret restructures so people just 'disappear' and no one says anything about it. When people resign, people aren't friendly / wishing them well, managers try and get them out the door asap and don't allow leaving drinks etc. I've heard another larger restructure and redundancies are on the way. I wouldn't recommend a friend worked here.
