Pros
Clients are great, they care about them, mostly
Cons
The management team do nothing to help their carers. Training is not paid and it’s basic. Not on your specific client/situation. They trained me for 3 days then I was a live in carer for about 9 months before they even came to the house to check up on the client and I. Luckily we worked really well together, but it’s scary that they care so little. They didn’t even fully understand their client, told me they had disabilities they did not have. Pay isn’t great. Basically they don’t care about their carers and don’t even speak to you unless you need them. No check ins, nothing. Their administration is slow and communication is awful. They’re the laziest employers I’ve ever had. Never have I ever been so undervalued as a human being.
