Pros
Company car provided. Fuel and maintenance provided by the company. You get paid every 2 weeks.
Cons
Poor communication between drivers, dispatch and management! No work life balance. You will work 12 plus hours, 6 days a week. You don’t get paid per hour, you get paid per job. When I went for the interview I was told I would earn £26-£30k a year. Which was more money than I was on at Dexter’s. So I joined Carey’s international in September 2019 with high hopes. It was only after I joined that I found out that the salary advertised was a lie! In reality I was making £1100-£1200 a month, which was less than what I was on at Dexter’s . I’ve had to get rid of my car and other things to survive. And then just on Monday 16th March 2020, 6 months after joining I was made redundant by Carey’s International. All I will be getting is the equivalence of 1 months pay and nothing else. I have an 8 year son and bills to pay. I would not recommend working for Carey’s International because in my experience they are liars.
