Pros

Good facilities. Some very competent people.

Cons

It’s like something out of a 90’s movie. Male dominated, well heeled leadership that see female leaders and advisors as little more than eye candy or playthings to make up the numbers. The few female leaders that are there are climbers who seem to have foregone all dignity to get where they are. Some very questionable behaviour by senior males at events that aren’t properly resolved and feel somewhat covered up to maintain harmony. Younger female workers are ignored when their concerns are raised to senior management. If you aren’t from the country set, don’t bother trying to be a female leader. You’ll be gradually sidelined due to a lack of a horse, a gilet or a farm. At some point it will go pop or the owners exit plan will kick in and lead to a massive cull due to inefficiencies being uncovered. You can’t keep adding people without supporting infrastructure and an approach to modernisation that will make the workplace FEEL better.

Pros

People focused organisation - feel appreciated.

Cons

None outstanding to mind. As business hits 400 headcount, scale could develop issues.

Pros

There’s a lot of work, but also plenty of opportunities to build valuable experience and develop professionally. The staff and teams are genuinely supportive, creating a positive and collaborative working environment where people are willing to help each other succeed. Overall, it’s a great place to learn, grow your skills, and gain experience across a range of sectors and projects.

Cons

Career progression can be challenging, as promotions often feel difficult to achieve internally. The company tends to prioritise external hires for more senior positions, which can be discouraging for existing employees, particularly when internal candidates may already have stronger knowledge of the business and relevant experience. At times, the culture can also feel somewhat cliquey, and there can be instances where concerns or complaints do not appear to be addressed consistently, especially when strong personal relationships exist within teams or management.
