What’s worse than a company who doesn’t care about your mental health? A: a company who harps on about caring about your mental health but actually couldn’t give a toss. Oh but they’ve arranged for a mental health nurse to contact you so that’s their end of the bargain held up…and then a team leader will regularly text you asking when you’ll be back after suffering panic attacks - yeah that helped! Advice on dealing with verbally abusive customers wanting to complain was to initially say no and escalate after speaking to a team leader. Great if they actually reply within the hour (or at all), so essentially you’re stuck with an angry wild animal that you have to call back and let them know a manager won’t be dealing with it even though their pay check reflects otherwise. Oh and don’t worry about ending on bad terms, Welsh Water don’t provide a proper reference, just dates. So go ahead and tell that vile customer to eff off and quit if you want :) because Welsh water don’t care about their employees - only their image.
