Pros

Currently transitioning to being a independent game maker with their own, home grown IPs. The staff is mostly friendly and skilled, but somewhat reserved.

Cons

Open plan offices, badly paid overtime/crunch (you're expected to participate), office space spread over remote buildings. Only very basic lunch facilities. Little flexibility with regards to working hours.

Pros

Frontier has an amazing knack at finding absolutely wonderful people to populate their development teams. You'll genuinely enjoy the company of your day-to-day colleagues.

Cons

As much as Frontier hires exceptional staff, they seem hellbent on not letting them do what they do best or heading their advice. Project direction is often driven by whims of people disconnected from day-to-day development and priorities are often railroaded to appease executive stakeholders.
