Positive Work Environment - Anonymous employee Green17 Employee Review

Can't think of one. My commute was short, but that's got nothing to do with the company. Most of the colleagues, other than the owner were nice people, but they seemed like they were serving time when in the office, which I don't blame them for.

Where do I start? I was told I'd be doing app development, which was true...for 4 weeks. They had no other apps in the pipeline. I was told I'd be writing code in PHP, I didn't write a single line of PHP code in the 2 months that I was there. I got to use Craft CMS...lucky me. I was told I'd be able to work from home, I worked Mon-Fri 9-5 for the entire time. I was told I'd get an afternoon off once a week. I didn't receive a single afternoon off the entire time. The owner is one of the most unlikeable people you'll ever meet. Fake nice and a slight ego, which I can't fathom the basis for. He's not a developer either, his answer to everything was to ChatGPT it. If you want to be a Dev, avoid this place, as it'll flatten your learning curve and crush your soul.

A small close knit team so you get to know each other quickly and understand easily how everyone fits together in the company. Good work-life balance with 3 days working at home and an early finish on one particular day each week. Free tea/coffee and snacks as well!

Honestly struggling to think of any at the moment.
