Every day is different and brilliant. The one thing that remains the same is getting to have amazing impact for students through the food we serve! We do incredible work for free school meal and SEND students, as well as underserved communities more broadly. We have a lot of lived-experience in the business, so we really understand the importance of school meals in alleviating food poverty/insecurity, reducing the attainment gap, and supporting inclusion and confidence-building in food overall.
I really believe that student impact lies at the heart of everything we do and plays such an important role in our business across every decision and every action we take. Our teams on the ground are also the most inspirational people - especially, their resilience, consistency and showing up every day in the kitchen during the toughest of heatwaves. It really is testament to how much they care about the students!
