Pros

Pretty relaxed place to work, but then again maybe that's a bad thing? Profit warning issued again this year and still nobody has really reacted fast enough apart from ditching the CEO.

Cons

IT infrastructure is archaic, slow, difficult to navigate and unfit for a so called digital business. Leadership styles of managers is deeply entrenched in the 1970s, command & control seems tobe the norm, micro management is rife. Pay is well below average, they really don't pay enough to make you forget what they actually do, keep people addicted to nicotine. Share price continues to dwindle, there really is no reason to stay here for the long term, this is a dying business, literally. Bristol head office is in a pretty dire part of town, nothing near it for a lunchtime apart from a Sainsbury's, on site canteen is overpriced and offers very little choice on a day to day basis. Turmoil will continue for the forseeable as a new CEO comes in and will no doubt want to turn the nosedive around, maybe they'll listen to the analysts and shut down the vape business and focus on tobacco, who knows.

Pros

Good benefits. Vacation, holidays, and 401k.

Cons

Terrible incompetent management. Management continues to make bad decisions. The company is trying to push out the great Lorillard employees so they can hire cheap incompetent people from other countries. Recently there's been a large hiring spree of people from central and south America. This company is so worried about hiring DEI employees, the talent and quality of workers is terrible. If they promote people they don't announce it because they know other employees will get upset. Recently an incompetent DEI employee was promoted, while other strong hard working employees wait from 15 to 20 years to be promoted.
