No loyalty - Developer Insight Employee Review

They have financial trouble and were cutting large sectors of staff to offshore them to try balance the budget. Despite being 3 months short of 10 years, I was cut. While I could understand this, it was senior management making the decision based on what was 'on paper' not actual job functions. It ended up costing them more overseas because they couldn't find 1 person to replace me with what I actually did and ended up having to hire several people.
