Pros

Pay and benefits are somewhat ok, but at a cost of working here (more info below).

Cons

Management don't manage anything except for the dishonest information they tell employees. Mind games and BS are the norm. Don't believe the story they tell you when interviewing, or any of the stories they tell you if you are here. This should make since if you are here. Management doesn't even let you speak to anyone on the team you will work with in interviews, until you join. They control the story they want you to hear. The reality is the company is falling apart, and Management only appear to be progressing this downfall. Management operate in their silo-circle, keeping all their decisions secret, except the stories they want to tell you. You won't find people with real experience at the top. Management just put on a corporate show. If you are looking for real security experience, you will have to gain it on your own or work somewhere else. Most of the experienced talent has already left Lodestone.

Pros

- The 401k company match is rather good, I am not sure about other benefits, such as medical, as I didn't use them. - Lots of experienced people who love to assist and teach you through things. Overall the Incident Response team is full of good people. - Growing business that isn't very stuffy. - Lots of opportunity to grow your skill set and hands on work. - Managers and team members all wanting to make Lodestone better

Cons

- People are pretty overworked, it felt as though to meet utilization goals you had to work every evening and weekend. Not a great work-life balance despite being a remote role. - Tools and Tech breaking down quite often causing slowdowns to projects. - No training for employees going on a few years. - The salary isn't the greatest compared to other organizations with same experience level. - Somewhat of a boy's club. Although I personally got along pretty decently with everyone, I personally saw women of same role have more tasks expected of them with less compensation or promotions and communication with those women not the most work appropriate.
