Pros

Something bittersweet about leaving a job you actually like. Great environment and supportive managers with humour helps the day go by. They will hear out your personal mental and physical health issues. No issues being payed (for NHS not bank). Some Sick pay and Bank holiday day off (payed) opportunities with some areas. You may be able to request this during your interview if you have children or other commitments. Asking questions shows them you are taking the job seriously and they appreciate it. no question is a dumb question especially when you are working with chemicals. :) Negotiable working hours for full and part time (to an extent). They were happy for me to take an hour later start and finish to fit in NHS counselling. More good than bad things to say.

Cons

Took 3 months to receive job offer. Will get pulled to many spaces and places and floors around the hospital if you aren't in a permanent area. I have a lot of anxiety but managed this due to supportive people I was learning from. It made the process way easier. Sometimes managers won't have time to show you around. Be Persistent and do your job correctly- a great attitude will work in your favour.
