Pros

Great focus on personal development, with weekly 1 to 1 mentoring, biweekly personal development meetings, dedicated personal development days and a budget you can manage. I've never felt more valued by a company in this regard. You have a good level of autonomy to get work done while still being accountable for it. Teams have ownership of parts of the product and are trusted to do what they think is best to help achieve goals. There's a healthy engineering culture with all engineers taking responsibility to ensure that code standards are maintained and we that are always looking to improve. There's always an effort to do things properly rather than find quick hacky solutions which will cause headaches in the future. The product team continually strives to refine and improve processes as the team grows. The company really embraced going remote-first and it's working well.

Cons

None I can think of

Pros

Great immediate team that wants to do quality work.

Cons

The level of nepotism within this company is deeply concerning and has severely eroded trust. I no longer feel there is a safe or honest environment to work in. Raising concerns is not encouraged or protected. The culture of forced positivity makes it unsafe to speak up, and employees who voice valid issues risk retaliation, including termination. I once genuinely loved my role and believed in the company, but over time the lack of consistency in leadership direction and goals has become impossible to ignore. The business operates in ways that feel unethical—misrepresenting information to clients and internally to benefit leadership financially, while the broader team is overworked, underappreciated, and burned out. This is, without question, the most dysfunctional organization I have worked for.
