The depot is very dirty, unsanitary, full of rats, very surprising for such an expensive high end middle class foodie retail network, if their clients seen the depot their business would collapse.
Very poor condition of road/pavement that the collection old broken pallet trucks used to move their heavy expensive bakery products from factory to van causes health concerning havoc.
Each box holds (upto) 10 x £5 loaves of bread, stacked 12 high bucked together in stacks of 3. On more than one occasion the wet boxers would either collapse or the bumpy pot hole ridden road would make the heavy tall tower sway and fall over on the uncovered wet public road when I was transferring from bakery to van. I was often instructed by management to collect and pick up all I could asap and only bin any that looked really really really dirty.
No questions asked when seen throwing boxes of product around the van/depot/retail outlet like a rugby ball.
Their delivery vans are absolutely disgusting
