Pros
- Holidays. - The children and their parents are amazing. The parents are very grateful for the work we do and always root for our best. By the way, the only things that will keep you at Young Epilepsy for a while are the children and their family because you will have the illusion that the effort is worthy. - You will find good co-workers.
Cons
- Toxic work environment. - No equality or diversity... there were reports of racism and nothing happened. You'll do great if you say yes to the managers, but if you do everything by the book you'll go downhill. Biased house managers. - They don't want anyone to make a difference, they want someone to shut up and do and fill out as many documents as possible... and occasionally be blamed for something wrong made by managers. - Your claims will never reach the exec leaders... they don't care. - Too much paperwork and always short of staff, sometimes we put ourselves in extremely dangerous situations to protect the children. - Low staff morale but they want a miracle to build up confidence again. Anyway, if you want to be frustrated with your work, never be heard, struggle with long shifts and develop mental disorders because of a biased and poor management, then go work with Young Epilepsy.
