Enfield Council reviews

Insane internal politics, the worst I have ever experienced in any sector, including private. Many unskilled egos with inflated job titles trump actual knowledge and experience. A very low technical standard is lowered still by entitled jobsworths who fail to understand the tech, and hire and fire employees accordingly (i.e very poorly). The entire working environment is the very definition of madness and leaving was partly a way to save my own sanity, but also to earn a decent wage that wasn't utterly insulting. Note that the top brass (the Director, Exec Directors, CEO) are all earning City-level wages, frequently £120,000+, and some lucky few are earning over £200,000. Google it, the information is public record. And ask about that in your interview, and how they can dole that out to themselves and pay the rest of the organisation dreadful wages. Meanwhile, the council tax itself rises yearly, and yet services and quality remain unchanged. It's a disgrace.
