Pros

Working with customers is very rewarding Independant work with little oversight (assuming your performance is good) Culture of collaboration and support from collegues, if you ask for help you will always get some

Cons

High expectations - often blamed for failings of customers Low management support Experience is very customer and team lead dependant UK hires get ~50% lower pay than the equivalent American hire Company culture can be cult like at times Hardly any benefits - refusal to allow remote/hybrid work for more than 5 days a year

Pros

Great benefits - PTO, sick leave, personal days, health care, and dental, etc. Pay is good if you do well, starting salary isn't great but can bump up significantly within a year. Guaranteed salary increases annually and a December bonus. Went from 75 to 90.

Cons

First few years are rough and you will not be good at the job unless you work a minus of 50 hours if not 60-70. Remote work policy is also really bad.
