Where to start? Constant restructuring of senior management, with no clear direction of where we are going. They recently moved us out of a reasonably good building and have squashed us into the remaining 2 buildings, told us this would avoid redundancies, but a number of staff have been 'talked to', seems they want to get rid of staff while avoiding the usual redundancy process (and from what I hear the statutory redundancy pay minimums), some of the Belfast management team just disappeared, leaving staff very confused as to what was going on, no official notice from the company about their employment ending. Extremely disrespectful to say the least! At a recent (one of the very few) communication session from senior management, an executive said 'A good day in Iraq was when no-one died', things are pretty bad when that's the low you have to compare to (also not a good comment to make in Belfast when you consider the history we have had). They also referred to colleagues in our Chennai office as 'keyboard thumpers'. Words can't describe how ridiculous a statement this is, I was insulted on behalf of our colleagues. It also sums up just what senior management think of the staff working for Equiniti.
If I had written this review last year, it would have been much more positive, there was a time when I had been looking forward to a long term career at Equiniti. Now it feels like senior management are in it to get their bonuses and add another notch to their CV, they make bug promises, dump on us, then move on before the consequences of their actions come to light, meanwhile we are left with no direction, demotivated staff and lately a really miserable place to work.
On the plus side, no-one died.
