Pros

The branch in which I worked was great, loved my manager and colleagues. Everyone who worked there did so because they really cared about the service we were providing. The website for uploading hours worked was efficient. I felt like I was working for a company that cared about contributing social value.

Cons

Dealing with GLL was sometimes tricky. IT issues were common and sometimes took a while to resolve. Communication was not great - I was terminated without warning after not working for a few months (as a casual employee) and had to be re-hired which was inconvenient but not catastrophic. This has since changed and I have received email warnings since, so I think they have taken steps to remedy these issues. I think the pay is low, and does not rise sufficiently with experience.

Pros

Lots of training provided to staff

Cons

Staff numbers reduced so increased work load on remaining staff.
