Pros

Flexible Working Hours Caravan holiday discount 20%

Cons

My experience working within the Procurement department at Haven Head Office has been significantly hindered by poor leadership and questionable operational practices. While the company brand is strong, the internal culture within this specific function is concerning. The leadership within Procurement demonstrates serious ethical and professional shortcomings. There is a palpable culture of favouritism, particularly concerning the selection of external suppliers and favourite members of staff. Directors appear to favour specific suppliers, even overriding merit-based tender outcomes. On occasion, managers have instructed me to reinstate a disfavored supplier into a tender process after initial results were unfavourable. This practice severely undermines the integrity of the procurement function. Managerial conduct is unprofessional and disrespectful of employees' time. Examples include standing outside meeting rooms and aggressively tapping a watch, indicating impatience and a lack of respect for scheduled discussions. There has been a serious disregard for employee privacy and data protection. Private medical information was discussed by management with other members of staff, constituting a major breach of GDPR and fundamental employee confidentiality. The department fosters a clear distinction between favoured employees and others. Promotions, additional opportunities, and development prospects are unfairly prioritised toward favourites, often overlooking more experienced or long-serving personnel. Colleagues hired concurrently for the same role are being compensated with salaries exceeding mine by approximately £10,000. Less experienced colleagues are consistently granted new projects and opportunities immediately, while employees who do not "fit in" are systematically overlooked, regardless of their capability or tenure. The prevailing culture is one where professional growth and job security are contingent upon conformity and acquiescence. If an employee fails to align perfectly with the management's personal preferences ("if your face doesn't fit"), they are marginalised. Until there is a fundamental overhaul of ethical standards, leadership behaviour, and fairness in operational decision-making within the Procurement department, retention and morale will remain extremely poor

Pros

Hybrid Work from home 2 days a week

Cons

No benefits. You cant use the O2 box when you want, its a raffles and you might win if you enter the draw. Pension package is very poor and no healthcare. But you do get a cheaper caravan holiday (20%) This place appears to work on if your face fits, if you don't you are in for a difficult time. This role is not new like the advert says, staff have resigned.
