      Pros

      I have joined the company in September 2019 and I have truly enjoyed my journey so far. There are so many opportunities for career progression. Also, there is always something new to learn. I have been given the opportunity to join the Shared Service Centre (SSC) and I must say it is the best workplace especially for someone who has recently joined the business. Everyone is very friendly and supportive and there is always something new to learn and you have endless opportunities to get involved in as many projects as possible and learn about the business.

      There are no downsides of working at Hanson.

      Cons

      This company chews up and spits out employees faster than Gordon Ramsay goes through lambs. Let’s be clear, these employees are leaving by choice because they are treated badly. The pay is practically made up. There seems to be no logic to it. Older staff seem to be paid a lot worse than new staff and new staff say their pay is good but they all dislike their jobs. Not sure who has it worse?! It’s pretty clear to everyone that Hanson need a good shake up as it’s so blatantly not working as it is.
