Pros

Great amount of flexibility and autonomy - willing to innovate and try new ways of working, as well as listen to new starters who have ideas on what can be improved in the business.

Cons

Complex management structure, split geographically and product based. Work has started on rectifying this so hopefully this makes a difference to the way of working soon

Over the past few years, we have transitioned from a de - centralised structure where colleagues reported locally, to a centralised structure organized by function. We are now focused on a verticalised structure where we can operate in the most customer-centric way and will continue to work with colleagues on embedding this structure. Pros

The only I can think of is that some people are nice.

Cons

Toxic managers who actually accept and reward bulling The GOLD in 'Investors of People' certificate is a box ticking exercise run by one person with no involvement, investment or follow up from the business Dated Technologies and mind sets -this technology company is run out of spreadsheets and pen and paper processes Very basic employee benefits - home working is treated as a privilege and allowed to only few of staff

Thank you for your comments; we are sorry to hear that your experience here was not a positive one. The IIP assessment process is rigorous and thorough, and involves a detailed review of a wide range of areas. It really wouldn’t be possible for a Company to be awarded IIP Gold standard on the basis of a ‘tick box’ exercise with no follow up or investment. Over the past 10 years we have invested significantly in initiatives which support the principles of Investors in People, evidenced by the continuous improvement in the level of awards achieved over the past three assessments. As you know, we have staff members who have been working for JATO for more than 15, 20 and in some cases 30, years. We believe this commitment and long service reflects the positive environment we create for our staff, and certainly doesn’t reflect a culture which accepts or rewards bullying. Ambition outweighs talent

Pros

It's a global company so if you want to travel with work there is plenty of opportunity. There are also some great people left there to work with, but getting less and less each month, the good people don't stay.

Cons

Chaotic Senior Management team unable to deliver anything due to miscommunication, massive ego's and infighting between divisions. Trying to scale agile development without managing to get small scale agile development right first. Endless consultants and agencies brought in to make up for the obvious lack of strategy from anyone in the SMT
