Lots of exposure to Japanese language & culture, fulfilling work when working with kids, and you get a lot of time on your hands to do whatever you want while still getting paid
Cons
every situation is different so you can get a good school or a not so great school, but there are pros and cons to even “bad” schools
- An opportunity that you would not be able to experience anywhere else
- Comparably competitive pay
- Location placement is random, but overall I would say this is a good point, as it allows you to experience parts of Japan (and Japanese culture) you would not be able to otherwise.
Cons
- While pay is competitive, it does not feel like much compared to what you could be making in other countries.
