There are no projects, the local companies (virgin media, upc, unitymedia, telenet) are doing the actual work and don't want liberty global to be involved at all. Liberty global only focusses on short term projects (quick wins) to please investors. So they hire very talented data scientist, only to brag to the investors that they are doing cool things. These data scientists never get data science projects, but only stake holder management and pleasing the local teams. When an actual predictive model needs to be built, it is outsourced to strategy consultants or cheap modellers from Bulgaria, and the data scientists only get to look at slides and, if they are lucky a pivot table in excel.
