Pros

LinuxRecruit is a very close knit team with many very talented consultants. It’s a great place to learn the ropes and gives you an opportunity to start earning straight out of university. There’s a clearly defined pathway to guide you from walking through the door with no clue about recruitment to take you to an experienced consultant. The environment will teach you a lot surrounding sales but also will give you a deep understanding of the tech industry. The salary was fair and the commission is above industry standards for delivery consultants. In summary it’s a close team environment made up of highly experienced consultants led by a director who has lived and breathed recruitment. This gives yourself the perfect platform to learn and build your career.

Cons

Not any cons, moved on for reasons irrespective to the company or anyone at the company. Lots of the negative reviews would have been posted whichever agency that person joined. Recruitment is hard. If it wasn’t then there would not be same sized rewards.

Pros

Nice office and good location

Cons

The con that stands out for most people is the perception of clear favorites within the company. It often seems like the boss prioritises certain individuals over others, creating an atmosphere of unequal opportunities for growth and advancement. Despite the company's claim to care about job progression, it sometimes feels like they don't take into account the unique strengths and qualities that each employee brings to the table. LR appears to be overly fixated on metrics such as the number of minutes spent on the phone and how that directly translates to business success. This myopic focus on quantity over quality can be frustrating for employees who believe that a more holistic approach to performance would be more beneficial. Also at LinuxRecruit, the rigid work hours and a lack of flexibility can be burdensome. Employees often feel constrained by fixed schedules, making it challenging to maintain a healthy work-life balance and adapt to personal needs.
