Pros

Hybrid working Certain degree of autonomy in back office roles Some benefits included

Cons

Office attendance 2 days a week - office is not central to Leeds and there is no work around No shuttle bus to office - have to rely on public transport Management can be overbearing and tend to treat employees like children Micromanagement of staff High workload Pay is not competitive Company appear to value staff, but in practice they actually don't Company have just laid off a large amount of staff - further redundancies likely No progression opportunities for front line staff Pension contribution is poor compared with other companies Additional benefits available but staff have to pay for these (over benefit allowance)

Pros

Usual pros of a nice comfy office with good facilities inc free parking and gym onsite. Under the cover though its a business where doing the right thing for customers genuinely matters. The culture is inclusive with approachable people and collaboration is encouraged.

Cons

At times the pace and volume of work means we’re very delivery-focused, which can make it harder to step back and focus on the bigger picture.

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review, I'm really glad to hear you like the building, It's lovely isn't it, I have never tried the gym myself but it does look very good and has what you need for a good work out! Your feedback is really valuable, and we’ll make sure it’s shared with the team so we can look at how to make things smoother and more comfortable going forward. If you’d like to chat in more detail or share anything else, we’re always here to help. Thanks again for your comments!

Pros

Supportive and inclusive workplace, DEI networks allow colleagues to feel themselves at work. Welcoming atmosphere as a new starter The office is a good place to work, nice perks like on-site gym, cafes and free parking (and free charging for EVs) Training and development opportunities such as apprenticeships

Cons

Top-heavy management structure It felt like there were limited opportunities for career progression Some internal systems and processes are frustrating and inefficient Stalled project progress at times due to inability to make a decision and a lack of strategic direction and alignment Work life balance could be improved, at times risk of burnout due to limited project prioritisation and resource management. Some redundancies in last 12 months resulting in feelings of instability
