Rewarding teaching experience but challenging classroom management

Pros

Flexible hours that I could choose, nice working space. My boss was nice and very reasonable. Pay was decent after I completed some certifications. When the teaching was effective it was pretty rewarding and it can be fun to talk to the kids.

Cons

It was honestly a very tiring job. The kids can get really rowdy and difficult to manage, especially if you have to teach three at the same time. Management required us to use tablets and a finicky platform for worksheets that was not helpful and forced me to further split my attention.

Cons

Pretty terrible hours and pay, requires you to have an open schedule, but they will cut your hours whenever, and the number of hours compared to the number of people they hire is pretty low.
