Thank you for sharing the pros of working at Cisco Meraki—we agree with you about our exceptional product, workforce, sales tools, training, and innovation. Regarding the rest of your review, we have a comprehensive process at Cisco to look into serious claims such as this, and we will be running a formal review into this matter. That type of behavior goes against what Meraki stands for and will not be tolerated. If you feel comfortable speaking with us, please reach out to your People and Community partner. We would appreciate more details about your experience. Thank you again for sharing your observations. Rest assured that this will be handled in a manner that aligns with our culture. Every Merakian deserves a workplace that truly embraces our value of “Everybody In.”

Pros

There's nothing positive to say

Cons

- Women are sexually harassed, discriminated against, and underpaid. Those who are consistently top performers are blocked from promotions and are not provided the coaching, support, and opportunities that men are given. If you are a woman, you are at a disadvantage. - Leadership is full of talentless individuals who tolerate sexism and inappropriate comments and behaviors. - It's a culture based on selfish behaviors that reward bad practices. There is a glass ceiling to get a promotion. A lot of social climbing people and those close to management get promotions rather than those that work the hardest. - A tense and long-hours working environment where you have no support or engagement for well-being. - Sales is an administration role, highly dependant on your Cisco AM - you're just updating discounts and shipping trials. - Success is highly dependant on the territory assigned.

Thank you for sharing your observations. We would appreciate the opportunity to learn more from you. We expect every Merakian to be respectful and supportive. Harassment—of any kind, for any reason, of any person—is a violation of company policy, and we will not tolerate it. We’ve brought your concerns to leadership. We also recommend reaching out to the ethics team to make a report (you can do this anonymously). Again, thank you for taking the time to share your observations about behavior that is absolutely not condoned at Cisco Meraki. Your feedback makes us better. Together we can create a culture of respect and an environment where everyone feels supported.
