      Terrible management with no vision whatsoever

      Pros

      Very good at changing strategies every 6 months to 1 year. Good at reshuffling personnel around as they like. Very good at employing senior management that have no clue about technology in general.

      Cons

      Old technologies, old people, not inspiring creativity/innovation. Keep on slashing costs with personnel ending up working 5 times more without gaining absolutely anything.

      Pros

      Amazing colleagues, very relaxed, good laugh, stable job, decent salary. Good work life balance. Flexible working (hours and remote working)

      Cons

      Some toxic management. Endless sprint ceremonies and very long meetings. Very chaotic at times. Blame culture. Interviewed as Java developer but never used it (all xml and xslt). Project not very interesting and outdated tech (all soap based).

      Pros

      Impactful work. Great team in Glasgow office. Got opportunity to move to different project when I was unhappy with the type of work first assigned.

      Cons

      Pay is below market rate. Senior management seem to change their mind about product direction every 5 seconds. Salespeople have a habit of selling things that do not exist without consulting engineering teams.
