Pros

Not many some good people there but overall most only there to get money to pay the bills as there are not a lot of jobs around.

Cons

Terrible place to work the place is run like a dictatorship where the workforce have to do as they are told or are threatened with the sack. Morale on the shop floor has been terrible for years but basically the management don't care as most have been there for years some straight from school with no other experience and zero man management skills. Also a lot of nepotism with people in positions not because of their skills but only because of who they are. I am glad I no longer work there my only regret is I spent so many years there when I could have moved elsewhere.

Pros

Basically it's a just job that helps pay the bills.

Cons

Each shift of each department is played off one another, eg this shift produced this amount of glass, are you going to beat them, There is no real inter-departmental co-operation, in fact the opposite is true with departments trying to blame each other for mistakes. The whole factory seems to operate within the blame culture with no-one willing to say sorry ,my fault. Managed, Foremen, Supervisors al enjoy the Authority they have but don't want to accept the responsibilty that goes with it. The majority of management and middle-management have been employed here since they left school, they have never worked anywhere else and they believe if you shout loud enough you will win any argument. They have no communication skills, no people skills, they hear but don't listen, basically they're right you're wrong. All the foremen and supervisors are "YES MEN" exactly what Senior Management wants
