      Good coworkers, bad pay, bad management

      Pros

      Good team, lots of experienced/smart and helpful folks.

      Cons

      Pay has fallen way behind market, and constant promises to fix it have gone nowhere for over a year and a half. Promotion raises and new hires means there's serious pay-inequality for folks who made the company so successful in the first place. Parent company (RLDatix) is pushing a ton of major changes and hiring.

      Impactful work in healthcare, great culture and strong engineers

      Pros

      RLDatix gives the opportunity to work on product that support patient safety and quality of care. This adds real meaning to the work. The culture is positive and people genuinely want you to succeed. There are many experienced engineers that care about design and maintainability. Senior engineers are trusted to contribute to technical direction and architectural decisions. Senior management really cares about our mission in healthcare and is invested into making RLDatix a great company.

      Cons

      Like many organizations that have grown over time, some products include legacy systems. There is a clear push toward more coordinated development, though variation in development paradigms across products can add complexity and slow change.
