Pros

It's an awful company. People say they pay the pharmacists well but the money they pay the new starters is shocking. They take people off the street and pay them minimum wage and they're handling medicine. If someone else makes a mistake they force the new staff to take the blame it's a nightmare working here. There is no loyalty or respect for new members of staff they are just used as scapegoats the staff handbook encourages you to own up for mistakes or you can be fired BUT they use this to blame you for others mistakes. JUST DON'T even apply you'll waste your time.

Cons

No loyalty just an awful place to work. They take people off the street and make them work for hours with no break and pay them minimum and give them abuse. Horrible company horrible people to work for I hated my time here. They just use staff use and abuse is the motto.

Pros

Free parking Ok salary for non professional admin role Some friendly staff at head office

Cons

I've been working there full time for over 9yrs. It's slowly become a nightmare.. No career prospects or progression unless your face fits with Management, like a previous review stated some roles are clearly created for the favourites and no one else! Zero flexibility in working hours, even down to the process of how to book your holidays you are entitled to. Unclear Management, treated like a child instead of an adult, zero trust and vile atmosphere amongst staff which is ignored by Management. Very old fashioned views of working - if you aren't chained to your desk then you aren't productive; office attire regardless of position even though 90% of us never see the public/clients

Pros

Training courses available where management sees appropriate. Working within a small team so easy to communicate with everyone. Being able to help the public.

Cons

Not enough staff support. Expect best service but don't provide branches with enough resources to do so. Inflexibility for staff members with young families. No recognition for staff who go above and beyond to improve the quality of service and to obtain a good company reputation.
