Pros

They do advocate remote working

Cons

I can't speak for Saint Gobain Offsite Solutions on the whole but within my department there was Micromanaging, Stifling creativity, Not empowering staff to make their own decisions. Very old fashioned leadership, zero development prospects. I ended up resigning without a role to go to as the prospect of working under my line managers dictatorship any longer was a far worse thought.

Hi and thank you for taking the time to send us a review. We really appreciate the time you have taken to leave us a review. And are sorry to hear you felt you had a negative experience. We always will try to encourage openness and innovation across all our brands, teams and roles. And I am sorry to hear you haven’t experienced this. Our Saint-Gobain attitudes are important to us which include these areas you mentioned; Innovative, Customer Focused, Agile, Open and Engaging and Entrepreneurial. I would be very happy to speak with you about this, or arrange for someone in your previous business HR team to support you. If you would like to reach out to me please feel free to email me on jeegna.chohan@saint-gobain.com. Thanks Jeegna

Pros

Nothing at all - from day one a load of bullies.

Cons

ALL management - bullied to the point of leaving. Ruined my life or tried to. No opportunities. If you don't feel bad about yourself, they're not happy.

Thank you for taking the time to review your time working within our IT department at Saint-Gobain. I am sorry for any negative experience you have had as a Saint-Gobain employee and I am disappointed that you weren’t able to enjoy your time with us for the reasons laid out. We work hard to create an environment of trust and to reward our employees with a comfortable and flexible working environment; always promoting health and wellbeing both mentally and physically. Regrettably I can’t change the fact that your experiences were not reflective of this, however we will take action to ensure we don’t risk any future or current employees feeling the same way. If you would be willing to provide us with more detailed feedback I would happily take the time to run through this with you – please contact me (Ieuan Male-Maltby - Recruitment Manager) on ieuan.male-maltby@saint-gobain.com and include a suitable number for me to reach you. Many thanks – I hope to hear from you soon.

Pros

It has given me the opportunity to be exposed to several brands, integrating the relevance of each these into my wider Saint - Gobain experience. I am fortunate to have spent my time in Jewson, which is a highly commended brand – it has given me the opportunity to grow my marketing knowledge, as well as build strong working relationships around the business. Being an innovative and sustainable brand, I know my career will continue to grow with the ever-changing world.

Cons

The only negative is ... if you don't apply you'll never know how massive Saint-Gobain is
