Pros

The role is challenging yet rewarding and I work alongside a great team. Our working hours are flexible so I can work around family commitments and know that the company recognises the days you put long hours in. They are similarly very accepting of home working as long as it suits the work you need to do. The benefits are good and also flexible - you choose what you want to have. The company itself is proud to push all staff to act as if they own the company. Treat everyone fairly, recognise how we can improve the company and especially how to can reduce our carbon footprint; the company is keen to do what we can to help improve the planet whether in carbon reduction or aligning with charities around the world to help bring power, water, a future etc to all.

Cons

The learning curve is sharp; you are expected to jump in to a new role with both feet and get up to speed as soon as possible. As long as you have passion for a role then this shouldn't be an issue.

Pros

Good transport links. Facilities are good.

Cons

Dress code is suits for no reason. Company is out-dated and old fashioned. Runs a Rank and Yank policy to employees- HR enjoy firing people. The more junior the role the more you are messed around Inflexible- can't even leave 5mins early for any reason. Asked to put over £200 of pizza on my own credit card by my boss. Graduates are cheap labor to them.

Pros

Great training Good benefits Good career prospects

Cons

I was fired for gross misconduct, once I went through ACAS they decided to give me my 3 months notice pay and a referance. This was due to discrimination due to my mental health.

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review and we're pleased that you think that Siemens provides good development, benefits and career opportunities. We are however disappointed to hear that you had negative experiences during your employment at Siemens, and your employment ended in such a manner. We have a positive focus and awareness on disability including mental health, with mental health trained advisers in our office locations. We do not tolerate discrimination on any grounds and have processes in place to raise concerns and manage issues raised. Given you state that you went through ACAS we are unable to comment further.
