Pros

Large, clean office -most colleagues in other teams are friendly and chatty -main office is located at London Blackfriars - it's a nice area with lots to do in your spare time

Cons

-Training non-existent -no career structure in place -Opportunities for development and advancement are pretty much zero -Members in the legal team are unapproachable, very arrogant, egotistical, and full of themselves, some are extremely rude and outright racist

Pros

Some of the consultants The nurses & admin staff

Cons

For those looking to apply for a Job at Spire Washington Hospital. Don't. Everything about it is a con. The management only care about... you've guessed it management! When working there, I had to call their Whistle Blowing Line (Their own line to combat bullying) I had 3 queries to ask if this would be classed as bullying of if I was being overly sensitive. Half was through the first experience, the Whistle Blowing employee stopped me and told me to report the manager immediately, this was blatant bullying. Unfortunately if you spoke up, they got rid of you. So due to the environment I did not speak up. They make you work extra hours for no pay, or appreciation and no time back! And get annoyed when you ask to take the time back they owe you! They belittle nurses and admin staff, do not pay them for time off for surgeries - which are carried out at Spire - which is a profit to them anyway! They have a "year of the staff" every 3 - 4 years, because they have to... not because they want to... because that's when the morale in the hospital is at its lowest and staff are ready to walk. So they do a half arsed move by getting staff to come and pick up a box of chocolates. Not deliver them to each department to show gratitude... no go and pick them up yourself. The staff - who are NOT management - are good, decent, caring staff. And the management at Spire Washington take advantage of that. They know they care about the patients and that they are passionate about their jobs so they use that to their advantage. If you want to board a sinking ship, with a horrendous, unfriendly morale, filled with bullies and want to go home after a long shift to cry because you are that stressed and miserable. Spire Washington is the place to work. Or if you value your mental health, I would highly advise you to not work at Spire Washington Hospital.
