Pros

Great to get you started but if you arent picked as talent then you are completely overlooked.

Cons

Corporate culture. Directors off having a blatant jolly whilst employees in lower positions pick up the slack. If you're not in the chosen club then forget progression.

They really don’t care about their staff

Pros

There is pay at the end of the month.

Cons

I know this review will be over looked but i cannot emphasise enough, please for the love of God do not work for this company! The product they build is dreadful, they treat their staff like garbage, and at the first sign of a reduction in their Multi million pound profit, They will make staff redundant for a small saving of under three months. Once the work picks up again they’ll just re-employ, six months down the line they’ll start laying people off again. Please seriously reconsider working for this company. They really do care only for one thing and that is the shareholders.

Thank you for taking the time to write your review. We value all of our current and former employees' feedback. We are disappointed to learn of your dissatisfaction at working for Taylor Wimpey. We assure you that we care a great deal about our employees and the recent decision to reduce staffing numbers was taken extremely reluctantly and after very careful consideration. In the context of a turbulent time in the residential housing market, we believe that the recent change programme was necessary to safeguard our business and employees in the short term. If you would like to discuss these issues further, please contact lesa.molinari@taylorwimpey.com, Group Head of Resourcing.
