Pros

You want to earn money, you gotta put the hours in. You wanna close more deals, you gotta do the process right. You want approval of the management, you gotta do what they say. Being a sales person for TrustFord means you can only achieve success by persevering. Self discipline is important. Some of the best Sales managers and Managing directors which 100% hand on heart want the best out of you and give you guidance and support.

Cons

You feel the pressure which means that sometimes your mind goes blank and you cannot think straight. Some managers do really need to be given a reality check about their role especially ones that get moved up from the sales floor to lower management positions i.e. controllers who act really arrogant and have a poor communication style which comes across as aggressive.

Pros

None. All of these reviews are fake, they hand select each individual to write a review and will not approach the individuals that they know will give them a bad review. Truly is a toxic environment that is soul killing.

Cons

Current CEO - has no values or integrity whatsoever. Positives are never celebrated. Only focus is on what you have done wrong. Blame culture. HR team - led by 2 individuals that as people are the most horrible people you can come across to lead a HR function.

Pros

The lads in the workshop and the aftersales manager.

Cons

General manager lies, talks to other staff in workshop about you in a negative manner and refuses to feedback anything said by staff to higher managers. HR are extremely 1 sided and anything said won’t ever have an affect. The management is more concerned about music being loud than if a customer has their vehicle back on time. Trustford scaremongers customers into believing their cars require a brake fluid every 2 years instead of advising it. If you like working with the people around you then you will have to hide it as friendships aren’t allowed in working hours. You will be split up and told you can’t talk to one another. There’s a reason trustford wilmslow have lost over 20 staff in the aftersales department in the last year and a half. Things will not change under the current general manager as he is sales driven and will lie and sell you a dream to get you through the door. Pay is a joke and getting holidays off is like pulling teeth. If you’re looking for main dealer environment. Look elsewhere. General manager quotes: ‘if you don’t like it, don’t be here’. How motivational ‘We have lost Beckham, time to find ronaldo’. This is in regards to finding staff after loosing a great mechanic for silly reasons. ‘If you guys don’t stay after work we will have to find other people’ again very motivational. In summary stay far far away until the higher ups realise the complete shambles trustford wilmslow is under the current general manager.
