Pros

Flexible working hours along with a team full of friendly people who want you to learn as much as possible is the best part about it. Each Brand Manager also loves their brand personally which makes them put so much effort into their work.

Cons

The pay isn't the best considering the size of the company, also the fact you have to live 1 hour by public transport to obtain parking (luckily I can get parking)

Pros

Nice offices, pleasant location in the countryside. There is some interesting research which goes on. Some opportunities for travel overseas (especially if you like Holland).

Cons

A lot of political infighting between senior managers. A lot of bullying. Scientists are treated with contempt (one senior manager told us we shouldn't expect a good salary because we're scientist and just enjoy what we're doing): you will not get any promotion for being a good scientist, only for saying "yes" to the right person, never questioning what you're told to do (even if it makes no sense for a research project) and playing the political game (i.e. getting your manager a promotion).

Pros

Really well paid, amazing benefits and interesting work

Cons

‘Productivity strategy’ which has no real strategy behind it, letting go thousands of people in a really short amount of time with no solid plan behind it. Very short sighted view from CEO and shareholders who seem to be more interesting in short term financial wins and less about what used to be important to the company - sustainability and the people! Everyone I speak to at the company says this is the worst it has ever been to work here and the energy and passion has gone.
