Pros

Sick pay and half day Fridays, got on with most people

Cons

Always getting stared at by the team leader for having a couple minutes conversation. Whilst some of the favourites could do whatever they like and talk for aslong as they want. Using dangerous machinery all day for minimum wage being rushed when doing work with dangerous tools that could easily lead to an accident. Also if your not part of the favourites you have no chance at all. No progression.

Pros

90% of the staff were the best people to work with

Cons

Unless you have a certain last name or run in the office grassing on people. You was always stared by the tem leader if you weren't one of the boys but if you were a certain someone by a cretain name who likes to not do much gets away with talking constant. Getting told about redundancies a week before Christmas everyone knew 3 out the 4 that were being kept on. I just hope all the staff that have been made redundant are alot happier now after being treated unfairly.

Pros

People on shop floor I worked with were some of the best people I worked with. Fridays half day and full sick pay.

Cons

1: the job title is all but an excuse to pay you minimum wage or a tiny bit above. 2: the nepotism was rife, due to family employment and favouritism, some of which saved them from redundancy like changing job titles to improve their profile. 3: No progression, even after multiple courses and training and promises of progression the pay to compensate it never materialised. 4: due to losses in the company even after managers knew there would be cuts and redundancies the managers decided to inform the hard working staff the week before Christmas 90% of them would be redundant in the January. 5: admin staff who also handle payroll and hours are utterly incompetent and resulted in underpayment of multiple staff… countless times. It would then take until the following payday to be paid up in full because they didn’t want to pay for direct bank transfers to correct THEIR errors.
