Pros

Opportunities: enough to have kept me for 20 years! People and culture. Guaranteed interesting work in Consulting and Research. Great brand on your CV ( I have been disappointing head hunters for a long time.)

Cons

Business success can be cyclical based on energy markets but we are more diversified than ever.

Talented and warm colleagues, but constant changes abound

Pros

An enjoyable place to work - you're surrounded, for the most part, by people who are extremely talented, while being warm and approachable.

Cons

It's a constant 'change' environment, regarding strategic direction, business priorities and ways of working. Can be an issue if your role or department is explicitly impacted.

Pros

Not much. You can get $5000 a year towards education and can work from home 3 days a week.

Cons

Toxic leadership and PE cost cutting have driven out all the best people. The rest are just biding their time hoping for a payout. The place runs on fear, not enough resource and everyone is burnt out. There's no support for managers. HR are incompetent and just as toxic. Impossible to hire good people, even in low cost countries because we are so far behind the market in salaries. People are leaving for double the pay. No career progression. AI adoption is embarrassing. All the things that used to make it a good culture have been destroyed. They'd rather do PR stunts than actually do any real DEI or ESG work.
