Good on the outside shambles inside
Pros
Colleagues, easy to sell, benefits are good. If your career path is a door knocker then this is a good job. If your just getting into door knocking run a mile it’s not worth it as it ruins your career.
Cons
Management aren’t the best at man managing. Pressure to sell as there is in sales but more so here. Unrealistic and horrendous cohorts (which means going over the same doors until we reach penetration so we can move onto a different area) which stop you earning and then get collard for not selling even tho no one else is. Commission is okay however you are reliant on the installers actually installing which in my region you couldn’t count on and no resolve for this. RSM are very micro managing. Not easy to get answers, you can’t go straight to the right team it needs to go through 6 people before it reaches the correct destination and then takes time from then to get your answer. Weather is a big factor and they expect you to knock in torrential rain even tho it makes you look like the most desperate person in the world.
