Last month Conor completed his Apprenticeship with ASK Italian gaining a well-deserved Distinction in every element! “Joining the ASK Italian Apprenticeship scheme has helped me along the way to my ambition of one day having my own restaurant. The support I received from Head Office, My General manager, as well as having my very own Trainer who helped me at every stage, meant that I was able to come away with the qualification and grade that I was aiming for” A year ago, Conor was a Waiter with ambition now he is an Assistant Manager of a busy restaurant. #LookBeyond #CareersASKItalian #NAW2020 #FireItUp Interested? apprenticeships@azzurrigroup.co.uk
At ASK Italian we are passionate about the development of our people. We call one of our development programmes we run with our Head Chefs 'Avanti' meaning 'forward'. Last week we took our chefs on this programme to Puglia, in the South of Italy, to experience some of the ways this region produces such a variety of amazing ingredients. We were joined by chef Theo Randall, who also gave our chefs a cookery masterclass in cooking these great ingredients. They also had the opportunity of spending the day at Le Ferre, who produce some of the greatest Extra Virgin Olive Oil in the whole of Italy, which we cook with and sell in our restaurants in ASK Italian.
Row your ASK off!! Last week nearly 500 participants proceeded to race over the length of a marathon in 32 Dragon Boats to raise money for our charity - Great Ormond Street Hospital. Vernon Kay was this year’s GOSH ambassador to help hand out raffle prizes and crown Team Fourth as Champions of a thrilling finale – what a fantastic day, thank you to everyone who got involved for such a wonderful cause. #GOSH #GreatOrmondStreetHospital #RowyourASKoff #weareASKitalian
