This year’s theme for #MentalHealthAwarenessWeek takes focuses on loneliness, an emotion that we have all undoubtedly felt at some point during our lives, especially with the recent events of the pandemic. Loneliness can be a significant factor to mental health, with one in four adults feeling lonely some or all of the time. In an industry like construction, we believe it’s crucial to raise awareness of the impact loneliness can have on our mental wellbeing. We’re proud to have a vast growing number of Mental Health first aiders, who help create a mentally healthy workplace for everybody. Together as a community, we can be there to support one another while offering to help those who need it most.
