As part of National Apprenticeships week, we wanted to shine a light on some of our fantastic colleagues who have completed their apprenticeships at Consensus - furthering their professional development and learning new skills to support them in their roles. Starting his career as a Support Worker for Consensus and now the Service Manager at Hampton Road, Stephen has completed not one, but two apprenticeships, and is committed to making every moment matter for the people we support, everyday ✨ "Both apprenticeship courses enabled me to have a greater understanding of the Health Care Sector, and presented me with new challenges to work through to advance my career." A big congratulations to our first cohort of talented colleagues who have completed the Elevate and Inspire Leadership & Development Programmes! 👏 Supporting Team Leaders to progress into Deputy Manager roles, and Deputy Managers into Service Manager roles, both courses support colleagues to flourish in their development - ready for the next steps in their career. Ensuring the people we support have the opportunity to learn about the importance of annual health checks, Ipswich Central Supported Living invited Suffolk Ace Anglia to teach their annual health check workshop 🩺 Providing a safe and interactive environment to familiarise people with medical equipment and procedures, the workshop supports people in making the experience less intimidating for future appointments - learning about reasonable adjustments, what to expect, and most importantly, having fun along the way! From trying out stethoscopes to blood pressure machines, well done to the team for supporting everyone to learn about maintaining their wellbeing💗

Despite the festive period being over and being in 2025, we couldn't help but share some more of the fantastic festive photos from December! 💗 Both the team at Fieldbrook & The Heathers gave back to the community, giving presents and raising money for a local charity. 🚂 David at Valley House was thrilled with his Christmas present - a model train track! 🍫 Michael spent his New Years baking a yummy chocolate log with Area Director Selina - Michael took the lead with the baking, leaving Selina with the most important job of washing up... the division of labour was certainly fair in our eyes! Witnessing smiles, heart warming moments, and bonding with one another, enjoy the festivities and last moments of 2024 with us here;

Last year across Consensus our services did their first ever Christmas Card Exchange - with everyone receiving and sending a card to spread joy & festive cheer! 🎄 Well, they've been back crafting beautiful cards and sharing their somewhat questionable favourite Christmas songs for round 2, making it a massive success for the second year running.
